Background

Henry street garden centre and nursery are a local garden centre for domestic and commercial uses, that grow award winning roses. There are several parts of the garden centre, from café, indoor area, outside area and also small shops at the back which include a pet shop, aquatics shop and pottery shop. We have worked with Henry street garden centre for over 7 years.

• We have been working together with Henry Street garden centre for over 7 years now, over this time we have provided every aspect of electrical maintenance from inspections and PAT testing to new installations and extensions to their systems to grow the company.

Challenges

• As a large garden centre Henry Street needed a reasonable sized contractor to look after them, with more than one engineer for bigger jobs and the capability to react to emergency work when needed for breakdowns so the company can still function normally.
• They also needed a certified company to ensure their electrics are safe because they have a large number of the public coming in and out daily.
• We fitted the bill perfectly with several engineers all experienced in commercial electrics.

How we helped

•  We have been able to provide everything that Henry Street needed, from the emergency breakdown cover to the installation and upgrading of new circuits.
• We provide the client with 5 yearly electrical inspections and PAT testing.
• Upgrades to existing circuits and the installation of new circuits when buildings have been changed/extended.
• We have provided maintenance and repairs to their commercial kitchen and pat tested the equipment within the area.
• External wiring to supply units out the back, external lighting and power points outside for pond pumps etc.

Results

•  By using Daton Henry Street have been able to minimize down time by using us for emergency call outs. We have also helped with improvements within the building by installing new lights, new supplies for things like automatic doors and PAT testing on all electrical equipment within the company.
• We have also provided electrical inspections to ensure there electrical system is safe, general maintenance to ensure the company can keep working as it should.
• We have also provided electrical upgrades, whilst working with other contractors to improve facilities such as public toilet extensions.
